Bloordale joined the largest poetry reading in history as part of a global initiative for change linking 95 countries, 450 cities, with 600 events. 2011
Civic Studies initiated and/or produced Bloordale poetry festival events:
Bloor Streetlight poetry tags including the work of ten poets, Bloordale store window poetry projects, Gladstone and Perth Library poetry book displays, poetry reading in the Lansdowne TTC bus shelter and a poetry performance, fund-raiser for the Savard’s Woman’s Shelter at the House of Lancaster.
The House of Lancaster Poetry Breakfast helped launch Toronto’s 100 Thousand Poet for Change events with 18 poets reading.
